In observance of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, September 30^th will now be a statutory holiday. Federally regulated workplaces like Canada Post will be closed, to commemorate the tragic legacy of residential schools in our country.

Excerpt: We used the extension vote as an opportunity to make our case on what a union should be, to pressure the NEB to develop more of an organizing strategy, and to find other allies who believe that CUPW needs to be drastically reformed. As expected, we lost the vote but accomplished our other objectives. Regardless of outcome, this experience has provided many important lessons.

Locals across our region have expressed concern to our NEB over the difficulties many of our members are having with the virtual format for the contract extension vote. In response, the NEB has scheduled one more voting day with three voting time options. This post details everything needed for those still looking to vote
