In this week's dispatch, we'll be covering the EDLC's Annual Barbecue and Annual Labour School, as well as an educational opportunity through McMaster University.

The Edmonton & District Labour Council will be holding its 32nd annual Labour Day Barbecue on Monday, September 4th from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm. This year, the barbecue will be held at Clarke Stadium, located at 11000 Stadium Road.

Registration for the EDLC's Annual Labour School is now open. The school will be happening in person on September 23rd and 24th at Concordia University of Edmonton (7128 Ada Boulevard, Edmonton).

McMaster University is offering an online Labour Studies Certificate. This program explores issues facing workers in their workplaces, organizations, and communities, and it supports workers by providing them with the tools to intervene in their world, in a worker-friendly environment, while allowing participants to build relationships with union activists from across the country.
