Registration for the EDLC's Annual Labour School is now open. The school will be happening in person on September 23rd and 24th at Concordia University of Edmonton (7128 Ada Boulevard, Edmonton).

 

If you wish to apply to attend through our Local, PRINT THIS APPLICATION and send it to our Local office (18121 107 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB, T5S 1K4) or take a photo and email it to educate730@gmail.com. The deadline is August 31st at 4 pm. You can, of course, apply directly through the EDLC, but you will have to pay the costs yourself if you choose to do that.

 

The courses offered are Addressing Domestic Violence in the Workplace, Advance Shop Steward**, A Path to Reconciliation, Basic Shop Steward**, Building Bridges in Polarizing Times, Organizing for Power: Taking Back the Work Floor, Understanding Your Union Meeting, and WCB Advocacy.

 

** Please note that while the EDLC is offering Shop Steward courses, these are not recognized by CUPW because we have our own Shop Steward courses.
