Friends and comrades
In this week's Dispatch, we are covering the Local media campaign, upcoming committee meetings, and the Prairie School for Union Women.
Before we get to that, there are three points I would like to bring to your attention.
First, the picket pantry is now closed. We'll certainly provide any updates in order to make donations if there is another picket pantry in the future. There are a lot of potential strikes happening this Spring/Summer, so we'll see how that plays out.
Second, there is a
Special GMM tonight
at 6 pm. The deadline to register was noon today, so if you registered on time you should have received a link to attend the meeting. For more information, click
HERE.
Third, we will be updating our Local website. The new website will be appearing within the next few days and the information from the old website will be carried over. Of course, if you see that anything is missing, please reach out and we will take care of it.
Solidarity,
Kyle Turner, Communications Officer

We are pleased to announce that our Local media campaign will be launching tonight. You can catch it on 880 CHED during the Oilers game. Starting tomorrow, you will be able to catch it on CHED, 92.5 CHUCK, and 103.5 CISN.
Upcoming Committee Meetings
We have a number of upcoming meetings for the Social Committee, Special Assessment Committee, and the Organizing Committee. The Women's Committee meeting has been postponed. For more information and for the links to attend these meetings, click

Prairie School for Union Women
The Women's Committee is still looking for members interested in attending the Prairie School for Union Women. For more information about the school, you can see the brochure
HERE. If you are interested in attending, the Women's Committee would like applicants to send them a paragraph on why they would be a good candidate to send as a representative.
