Local Dispatch (25/02/12)

Friends and comrades,

This week's Dispatch is mostly reminders, including encouraging applications for our Local media campaign as well as for the position of 2nd alternate for the Differently Abled Working Group as a part of our union's National Human Rights Committee.

Before getting to that, I would like to congratulate Ryan Theriault on his election to 1st Vice-President (Organizing) at our last GMM and Ryan Malmo-Harper for his appointment as acting 3rd Vice-President. Both of these positions will be up for re-election in April, along with the positions of Secretary-Treasurer, Grievance Officer, and 5th Vice-President (Garage, Maintenance, Registration, and Wickets).

For more information about these elections, including how to qualify for these positions and how to be nominated, see our past Dispatch HERE. Deadline for nominations is Friday, February 28th at 5 pm.

Solidarity,

Kyle Turner, Communications Officer
