September GMM
Our next general membership meeting is happening on Saturday, September 6th at 10 am. It will be a hybrid meeting, so you can attend in person at the office (18121 107 Ave NW) or online via Zoom. The deadline to register to attend online is Friday, September 5th at noon. For more information and to register to attend online, click HERE.

Slo-Pitch and BBQ Social
Everyone is invited to slo-pitch and BBQ picnic on Sunday, September 7th from 12 pm to 5 pm at the Airway Field Park, Field #3 (11113 113 Street). Drinks and food provided by our union in a family-friendly, pet-friendly, no drugs and no alcohol event. Baseball will be played from 1 pm until 4 pm, but please feel welcome to bring your family’s favourite outdoor pastime! We will be grateful for anyone who can bring extra ball gloves, balls, or bats for the game.

Women’s Equinox
The Women’s Equinox will be happening the weekend of September 12-14th, 2025. This event is taking place just outside of Red Deer at Camp LG Barnes on Gull Lake (40421 Range Rd 10, Gull Lake, AB T0C 0J0). This event is a great opportunity to learn more about women’s health in a warm and welcoming environment with your fellow union sisters and cousins.

Committee Meetings
There are currently two committee meetings scheduled. The next Organizing Committee meeting is happening on September 4th at 7 pm via Zoom. The next Women’s Committee meeting is scheduled for September 18th a 5:30 pm at the Starbucks on 12731 Victoria Trail. For more information, click HERE.
