Friends and comrades,
With the end of our collective agreement extensions on May 22nd, we once again find ourselves in a period of uncertainty.
We’re sending out this Dispatch early because there are a couple of Regional events happening this week that we want you to have time to participate in: a Zoom meeting about the current state of negotiations, Section 107, and the Kaplan Report; and a Wear Red event on the day our contracts expire.
Solidarity,
Kyle Turner, Communications Officer

Wear Red
The Prairie Region coordinators for the Hands Off My Post Office campaign are asking for all members to wear red on May 22nd, the day our collective agreements expire.
From the bulletin: “As we head into this next round of negotiations, we must show that we are mobilized, united, and ready to push back… Let’s make May 22 a day that shows our power and determination to protect what we’ve won–and fight for what we deserve.”
