Local Executive Election
 
Today is the advanced poll to vote in our Local election for Grievance Officer. If you can make it to the office (18121 107 Ave), the poll closes at 7 pm. To see campaign materials for nominees, click HERE.
 
Mail-out ballots that were sent to the affiliates must be returned in the envelope provided and arrive at the Unity Square post office by April 4th.
 
The final day to vote is Saturday, April 5th from 11 am until 5 pm. The results will be announced at the GMM on April 5th at 6 pm.

April GMM
 
Our April GMM is happening on April 5th at 6 pm. The time has been changed from the usual 10 am to allow for the Executive election. This is a hybrid meeting, so you can attend in person at the office (18121 107 Ave NW) or online via Zoom. The deadline to register to attend online is April 4th at noon. Double Deductions for Basic Life and Disability Insurance
 
It has come to the attention of the Local that there have been double deductions for basic life insurance and disability insurance in pay period 27 of 2024 and pay period 2 of 2025. For further details and to get involved in the Local grievance if you have been impacted by this, click HERE.

The next Special Assessment Committee meeting is happening on April 1st at 7 pm via Zoom. You can find the link to attend that meeting HERE.
