We are holding our annual spring school in person on February 21 & 22, 2026.
Courses offered:
- Advanced Shop Steward (Level 1): Representation Skills & Tools
(prerequisite Basic Shop Steward) - Bridge to a Shared Future
- Basic Shop Steward
- Media Training
- Introduction to Labour Law and Arbitration: The Case Builder
- Conflict Resolution: Building Solidarity in Polarizing Times

CUPW 730 Members are encouraged to apply. We will accept a limited amount of applications to cost-support ONLY IF the application is received by our deadline below. (Also please note that third-party Shop Steward training cannot be accepted as qualification to become a CUPW Shop Steward.)
Deadline: Applications must be received by the Local Office by 5pm on Wednesday, January 14th, 2026.
