Negotiations Updates
Our negotiators have continued to meet with Canada Post and the federal mediators as they continue to look for a way to bridge the gap between the parties. Despite the lack of public consultation, Canada Post also shared its plan for service cutbacks with the government, but it seems that plan won’t be shared until it’s finalized and endorsed by the government. Our union is opposed to any cuts and has pointed out that the first 6-months’ of revenue from increasing the cost of postage is more than what the Corporation claims it will save yearly by eliminating door-to-door delivery. We are asking that you send the following information to RSMCFLY2025@outlook.com:
- Paystub 21
- Letter of explanation
- The depot you work at
- Route # or if you are on a long-term assignment
