In order to participate in the forced vote on the Corporation’s offers, you must make sure the Canadian Industrial Relations Board has your most up-to-date email address.
The deadline to do this is July 7th, 2025 at 11:59 pm EST.
In order to do that, use the following link: https://vote.information-cpggpc.ca/
On that page, there are instructions at the bottom and there is a help icon in the top right.
However, there have been a number of problems and our National office is in the process of addressing these issues and concerns with the CIRB. To read that bulletin, click HERE.
The National Executive Board recommends that all members vote NO on this contract. The Edmonton Local Executive also endorses voting NO. For more information on why you should vote NO, click HERE.
The overtime ban remains in effect.

May 22nd, 2025 at 7:00 pm:
Our National office has instituted an overtime ban as of 12:00 am MST on Friday, May 23rd.
What this looks like is that members are to work their scheduled hours and nothing beyond. Working more than 8-hours will be considered as crossing the picket line.
- Letter Carriers: work 8-hours and return to the depot with undelivered mail, no working 15.08 (own route) or 17.04 overtime (other routes).
- Rural and Suburban Mail Carriers: work hours as per your Schedule A up to 8-hours and return to depot with undelivered mail.
- Part-Time and Temporary Employees: permitted to extend hours up to 8-hours per day.

If you are on annual leave, please contact staffing and ask if they expect you to return.
Note: You cannot be disciplined for participating in a legal strike action.
