In this week's Dispatch, we are covering the advanced polls (happening today!), the April GMM, the strike merchandise design contest, upcoming committee meetings, Disability Supports, as well as a number of reminders.

Advanced Polls for Executive Election
 
The advanced polls for the Executive Election are happening today (March 20th) at the union office (18121 107 Ave NW) from  7 am until 7 pm. Work facilities outside of Edmonton, St. Albert, and Sherwood Park will be receiving mail-in ballots that must be returned by April 5th. Please check in with your Shop Steward if you are in one of these workplaces. Voting will also take place on April 6th before the GMM, from 11 am until 5 pm at our union office.

April GMM
 
Our next GMM will be on April 6th at 6 pm. (The time is changed to allow for voting in our Executive election.) It is a hybrid meeting, so you can attend in person or online via Zoom. The deadline to register to attend online is April 5th at noon. For more information and to register to attend online, click HERE.

Strike Merchandise Design Contest
 
We are now officially launching the strike merchandise graphic design contest that was announced at the March GMM. For more information, see our website post HERE.

Committee Meetings

Disability Supports
 
Disability Supports is a project of the CUPW and UPCE-PSAC Child Care Fund. After hearing from members about the difficulties they were having trying to find online information about disability services and supports, the Child Care Fund partnered with 211ON to provide a single point of access for these services across the country.
