Negotiations Update

The most recent bulletin from our National office highlights where we currently are in our negotiations process. The conciliation period has ended as of October 12th and we have now entered a "cooling off" period. This period lasts three weeks. When it ends, we acquire the right to strike and our employer acquires the right to lock us out.

In the meantime, our negotiators will continue to meet with mediators and our employer's negotiators in order to reach negotiated settlements at the bargaining table. To read the full bulletin, click HERE.

Picket Information

We are still working out the details for if/when it comes time to picket. But, once again, we will ask you to make sure we have your most current contact information. You can update that HERE. We will also be using an SMS/Text service to keep you in the loop. Messages will be coming from (833) 849-0390, so please add that number to your contacts to prevent it from being marked as spam.

If the time comes for job action and you are unable to picket because your are on short-term disability, long-term disability, or Worker's Compensation, or if you are scheduled to have a medical procedure that will result with you being off on short-term or long-term leave, please contact Secretary-Treasurer Karry Biri (780-423-9000 ext. 2 or Treasurer@cupwedm.net).
