Our next GMM is Saturday, September 7th at 10 am at the Rundle Family Centre at Rundle Park (2909 113 Ave). For a link to the agenda, see the website post HERE. We will be having elections for a number of our committees. Joining a committee is a great way to get involved and see how your skills and interests can help keep the Edmonton Local active.

 

Following the GMM, there is a strike preparation event. There will be free food, drinks, and ice cream, as well as activities for children. Following that, there will be a town hall meeting where we will be joined by our 3rd National VP Jody Hutton. You'll be able to hear the latest updates in negotiations, but this will also be a good time to ask questions.

 

We have finalized the details for our strike votes. For a list of locations, dates, and times, click HERE. This list has also been sent to all work facilities in the Edmonton Local, but for the latest information please consult the website.

 

We've been advertising for a while now that our Local would be using a texting service in order to get the word out about strike votes, a strike, or a lockout.
