A presentation is given by the local President, Roland Schmidt, to Downtown Edmonton postal workers on a referendum asking: If you knew you had the financial and legal support of CUPW National and other unions, and if you knew you had the mass support of the rest of the Edmonton local, would you be willing to join the rest of the local in defying Trudeau's back-to-work legislation to improve your working conditions? This same presentation has, or will, be made to 23 other facilities in the Edmonton local between Sept 10 - Oct 4, 2019. The results of the referendum will be published in the Oct 2019 issue of the local newsletter.
