The December general membership meeting is on December 2nd at 10am. This is a hybrid meeting, so you can attend in person at the office (18121 107 Ave NW) or online via Zoom. If you wish to attend online, the deadline to register is December 1st by noon.

The next Women's Committee meeting is being held on Tuesday, November 28th at 7 pm via Zoom. The Committee will be discussing the ceremony that will be held to commemorate the massacre at L'École Polytechnique. The Committee is open to all ciswomen, transwomen, and nonbinary persons comfortable with centering the experiences of women. To attend this meeting, click HERE.

 

The Social Committee will be meeting on Saturday, December 2nd at noon. This will be a hybrid meeting, so if you're already at the office because you were at the GMM, you can stick around, or you can attend online. This Committee is newly elected and excited to get some events going, and it is also open and anyone who is interested in planning social events is encouraged to attend. Because we are planning to use an automated texting system during this coming round of contract negotiations, it is important that the local office has your most up to date contact information.

Our local's 2024 pocket calendars have been sent to the printer. They should be available within the next couple of weeks, and we will let you know how to get your hands on one of those once they arrive at the office.

 

 

Our Local's Human Rights and Indigenous Rights committees are taking part in two donation drives, one for WIN House Women's Shelters and another for Bear Claw. The drive for WIN House ends Saturday, November 25th. For more information, please see our website post HERE.
