Friends and comrades,
This week, we have a reminder about our next GMM and resolution writing workshops, as well as big news regarding SSD in St. Albert, and upcoming International Women's Day events.

March GMM
Our next GMM is happening Saturday, March 4th, at 10 am. It is a hybrid meeting, so you can attend online or in person. If you'd like to attend online, you must register by Friday at noon.
Resolution Writing Workshops
The first of our two workshops on writing resolutions is happening next week on Tuesday, March 7th at 7 PM. You can attend this online or in person. For more information and to find the link to attend via Zoom,
please see our website.
SSD In St. Albert
We have seen over the last few weeks that the Corporation has gone back and forth on whether or not SSD would be implemented in St. Albert. We are pleased to report that we now have a signed Memorandum of Agreement that cancels the implementation of SSD in St. Albert.
We don't think this would have been possible without the organizing efforts of members across the city, so thank you! (But it is important to remember that the struggle continues and this surely won't be the last we hear of SSD in Edmonton.)
International Women's Day
International Women's Day is March 8th. On Sunday, March 5th, at 1 PM there will be a march on Whyte Ave starting at the east side of Corbett Hall (112th Street and 82nd Ave). On March 8th, there will be a dinner and discussion at Santa Maria Goretti Centre (11050 90 Street). Doors open at 5:30. Tickets are $25, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
