Our next GMM is Saturday, February 4^th at 10 am. This will be a hybrid meeting, so you can attend in person at our union office (18121 107 ave NW) or online via Zoom. If you plan on attending online, you must register by noon on Friday, February 3^rd.

Make Them Pay Campaign

We've received our postcards for the Make Them Pay campaign and RSMCs will begin to visit facilities across the Edmonton Local in the coming month. Please attend these meetings and talk with the representatives when they stop by your facility!

We could also always use more volunteers, so if you're interested in getting involved with this campaign or if you would like more information, please send an email to rsmcmakethempay@gmail.com.

SSD in St. Albert

On Friday, January 27^th, postal workers across Edmonton delivered petitions to management to tell them that we reject SSD in Edmonton. Representatives from our Local have also been in consultations with management to reiterate that postal workers in Edmonton will not accept SSD.

Management also claims they do not want to see SSD in Edmonton and that they are willing to work with us to find an alternative. However, we have yet to receive anything in writing and the Corporation continues to play games.

EMPP Shop Steward Meeting

There is a Shop Steward meeting for each shift of the EMPP coming up in February. All meetings are being held at our union office (18121 107 ave).
