The following committee meetings are open to all CUPW members in good standing. We encourage everyone who is interested to attend. Most will be held via Zoom, but please continue reading for further details.

Organizing Committee

The next Organizing Committee meeting is Wednesday, October 26th at 7 pm via Zoom.

The Organizing Committee will be meeting to discuss a number of local internal organizing opportunities, but chief among them will be the new "Make Them Pay" campaign. This campaign came out of our October GMM and the goal is to help RSMCs fight to make the Corporation pay for the excessive fuel costs.

Women's Committee

The next Women's Committee is Thursday, October 27th at 7 pm via Zoom. The Women's Committee is open to all Cis-Women, Trans-Women, Binary, and Non-Binary persons comfortable with centering the experience of women.

The Women's Committee is meeting to discuss the following issues:

1. Writing a statement about sexual harassment at CPC
2. Bringing in a speaker to discuss dealing with sexual harassment
3. Other issues facing women locally
4. Organizing a conference for 2023

Bylaws Committee

The next Bylaws Committee meeting is Wednesday, November 2nd from 9 am to 5 pm at the Union Office. While this is an open committee, only members elected to the committee will receive a bookoff in order to attend.

The committee will be meeting to discuss the motion passed at the September GMM regarding hybrid GMMs. In addition to this, they will also be working on reviewing the bylaws.
